How We Work: Our Event Security Process
We believe in a hands-on, personal approach – not just a “ping pong” of phone calls and emails.
Initial Meeting & Site Review
Lee, the owner of LG Security Services, prefers to meet clients and event organisers in person wherever possible. During this meeting we will:
Discuss your event, site layout and expected attendance
Review any previous security issues or concerns
Understand your priorities, timings and key risks
If needed, we will visit the site with you to get a clear understanding of access points, crowd flow and potential pinch points.
Tailored Security Plan
Based on your event and budget, we will design a bespoke security plan which may include:
Stewards, SIA security, response teams and supervisors
Positioning of staff, entry and exit points
Search procedures (bag searches, person searches, dog units)
CCTV coverage and radio communications
Emergency procedures and escalation routes
We keep things clear and straightforward so you know exactly what to expect.
Clear Role Separation On Site
To make security easy to identify and manage:
Each team (stewards, security, response, management) wears a different coloured hi-vis
This makes it clear who is responsible for what at any time
It also helps your own staff and emergency services quickly locate the right personnel
All our teams use two-way radios and discreet earpieces to maintain fast, efficient communication across the site.
On-Site Management & Single Point of Contact
We always have at least one of our managers on site leading our teams. For larger events, we can provide multiple managers and supervisors.
This gives you:
One clear point of contact for all security matters
Instant updates and quick decisions
More time to focus on running your event, not chasing different security staff
Our managers will liaise with you throughout the event and provide you with a clear picture of what is happening on the ground.
Post-Event Review
After your event, we can provide a debrief covering:
What worked well
Any incidents and how they were handled
Recommendations for future improvements
This helps you continually improve safety, visitor experience and event efficiency.
