About LG Security Services

LG Security Services is an independent, professional security company based in West Sussex, covering West and East Sussex, Hampshire and the surrounding towns and villages. Owned and managed by me, Lee Grantham, we provide a reliable, personal and highly professional security service for private clients, businesses, venues and events across the South.

With more than 20 years’ hands-on experience in the security industry, I set up LG Security Services in March 2025 with one clear aim: to offer a higher standard of protection with a more personal, responsive approach than many larger security firms can provide.

Our Story

Before starting LG Security Services, I spent many years working alongside some of the country’s larger security companies. During that time, I worked in most frontline and supervisory security roles and gained a clear understanding of what good security looks like – and where the industry often falls short.

I saw first-hand that clients were often treated like numbers, with little continuity of staff and limited communication. I knew I could do better.

LG Security Services was founded to offer:

ICO registered and compliant – protecting your data as carefully as we protect your premises
Fully insured
Registered with the CAA
Employers’ liability insurance
Public liability insurance
SIA licensed – all security operatives hold the appropriate, valid SIA licences
First aid trained – ensuring we can respond appropriately in an emergency
CCTV licence holder – trained and authorised to operate surveillance systems lawfully and effectively

We also have an in‑house Health & Safety Manager holding a NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety, ensuring that all our operations, risk assessments and site procedures are carried out safely and in line with current legislation and best practice.

Rigorous Staff Vetting & Recruitment

We know you are trusting us with what matters most to you. That’s why we only work with people we would trust in our own homes and businesses.

All staff at LG Security Services are vetted to BS7858:2019 – the recognised British Standard for security screening. This includes detailed background checks to confirm identity, work history and character.

You can be confident that every member of our team has been carefully selected, professionally trained and properly checked.
